Frequently Asked Questions

  • I offer 1:1 (private) Pilates sessions in either mat or reformer Pilates. You can also choose to combine mat and reformer exercises.

    All sessions are conducted at my home studio in Ewell, Epsom (KT19), however I can also travel to you if that is your preference (mat only unless you own a reformer machine).

    Classes are either ad-hoc or purchased as part of a plan.

    I understand that we are all unique and what most of us really want is to just find the right form of exercise for our individual needs that can be carried through to the rest of our lives.

    If you don’t feel comfortable attending group fitness classes or you just want your exercise to be tailored to what you and your body needs then PIlatiKat is the place for you!

  • Pilates offers improved strength, flexibility, balance, focus and body awareness.

    This can serve as an excellent supplement for other cardiovascular intensive sports (helping to prevent injuries and improving posture), as well as a life-long exercise regime to future proof our bodies (reducing the likelihood of falls and many other health related issues).

    Practicing Pilates will a qualified instructor helps to ensure that you are performing exercises with your body aligned correctly. This provides a more effective workout targeting the right muscle groups.
